words swarm in my mouth —
buzzing their meaning in confused sonatas
of longing.
Sounds swelling against the walls
pushing the edges further out
into a bleeding heart —
Your words, typing themselves away,
intimate thoughts that have no sound at all…
and all love, passion, play
tucked with furtive care
on a screen of displaced presence.
I can feel the twinge of momentary loss,
I type my words so that you know:
Your absence fills all void with
yearning
